Eeewww!
If you read my post on Monday, you know I am harboring a fugutive kitten. Why oh why didn't I just leave the thing in the rain? It's way more responsibility than I need. I have to bottle feed it every 4 hours or so, then wipe its genitals so it can pee on me and of course it's feisty and likes to struggle and squirm. I have to admit it has its cute moments, but the pictures doesn't do it justice. It looks more like a rat. I think the fact the eyes aren't open all the way and the ears are still down make it kinda hideous. I am sure I will get an aawwhhh from the cat lovers and some other smart ass comment from everyone else, but tell me you wouldn't have done the same!

i wouldn't have done the same.
scum: How did I know you were going to say that?
I fucking hate cats, but I would have rescued it too. At the least I would have dropped it off at the SPCA where they would have done away with it humanely. At the most I would be doing the same thing you are.
I definately would of done the same, doesn't it make you feel proud to be a new mama. hehe

i have done this before with cats and i dont like cats. im just a softy i guess..
I'm not a cat person but....I would absolutely have done the same thing. And then I would have gotten attached and kept it. I'm a sucker for any critter that needs help. Which is why I can't go on vacation anymore. We can't find anybody to watch all the animals long enough to get out of the driveway.
Sigh. I gotta learn some control. Seriously.
That is the cutest rat I have ever seen.
anna: Yes. pawning off! I hope to do that soon.
sal: Our pound sucks!
sug: My neighborhood is stray hell!
blonde: I am not a cat person, but I am a push-over!
db: Hell no, the rat is not staying long!
Farmboy: See, I am glad I am not the only one!
crabby: There's the deal! I already have a dog that stays with grandma. I am not taking the chance of getting anymore trapped in this damn town!
Jiggs: That was sweet....I think.
Sucker! Just kidding. You know you are going to "heaven" now if that's what you believe in.
LOL I can't say as I blame you I'm sure the local shelter will find it a good home :)

I knew you were a softy!!!
but then I woulda done the same.
Yep, I totally would've done the same. I'm a sucker for homeless kittens.
You've already named it, haven't you? :)
sign: sucker is right!
db: It really is cute, I won't have a problem finding it a home. It is outta my hands on May 24th. Should be weened by then!
sonya, I will have to post another pic when the eyes open all the way.
Jane: Is that the problem....my kids never minded, they just threw up on me.
Hi Andi!
anna: I was home for half a day.
Waygon: I am ....don't tell anyone!
kc: Named it? What the hell are you talking about....okay, we call it "Storm".
if i were to ever have a cat (never) i would name it TRACTION. that is what they are good for.
but to tell the truth i probably would have done the same damn thing.
i have been gone and read your next post first, so drop it off to your wonderful drug addled neighbors! they could name it METH or KITTY CRACK or STONEY, i could go on...
I would have done that. My two cats were very very small when I first got them. Cody was so small, that I put him in my t-shirt pocket when I went in the store to buy kitty essentials. And, Darbi was so little (almost like the one you saved) that I had to bottle feed her too.
you know this whole harboring fugitive kittens thing is what got me and my car all fucked up, right?
see my posts around christmas, and you'll understand.
that said, the damn thing is cute and you love it.
when i had the kittens i almost changed my tagline to "specializing in feline genital stimulation."
